Yes-No 2003
A formation of three letters reveals, depending on the perspective,
the words “YES” or “NO”. Cast iron copies
were produced from the wood originals created by the artist.
Because of the high temperatures required to cast iron, it was
first necessary to create a ceramic shell mould. The surface
of the casting was burnished with burnt-in linseed oil to achieve
a uniform anthracite grey finish. |
