Brücke Baden
2002
As part of an art in the built environment project, René
Zach installed 96 bronze birds on the grounds of a bridge in
Baden (Aargau). The life-sized figures of local bird species
were cast by the Kunstgiesserei based on 7 models created by
a wood-carver from Brienze (CHE). The casting, which were left
as-cast, were installed according to a randomly established
rhythm, which was then mirrored on the other side of the bridge.
