Work with artists encompasses
a broad spectrum of widely varied positions and intentions.
It is therefore, in form, material expression, and technique,
rarely possible to fall back on past experience. The working
methods of individual artists continue to present us with new
challenges.
The commissions are usually produced as single pieces or limited
series, and thus require individualized solutions. It is often
sensible to provide consultation and technical assistance beginning
when the early sketches are being made in order to facilitate
an effective and logical approach to the crafting of the piece.
The artists frequently work on the realization or the finish
of the piece in our workshop. This personal contact and the
often years-long knowledge of an artist’s work are very
important for us and essential for a constructive working relationship.
