The Art Foundry is a production facility for the realization of works of art. The foundry was established by Felix Lehner in 1983 and is currently located in the Sitter Valley in St. Gallen.

Sitterwerk– An Initiative of the Kunstgiesserei
The former grounds of the Sittertal Dye-works are now home to
a conglomeration of culture-related businesses and institutions
involved in scientific work. This atmosphere of cooperation
provides fertile soil for Sitterwerk, a location for ideas and development

In addition to our work for contemporary artists, we also work
on the preservation and restauration
of sculptural works
, and on special projects such as theater sets and architectural
components for exhibitions.
Tours of the Workshops
The workshops that comprise our foundry offer many artists space
to work and also provide training for individuals interested
in art. Our tours
provide insights into the lost wax process and the history of
the craft.
